Keaten, What the????

Let me paint you a picture:

I am  cooking supper, Bryan is doing book work, Kinser is just chillaxin' in his papasan on the kitchen counter and Keaten...
Well Keaten was doing this...

He took all the Diet Pepsi and thought that they needed to be in with the water.

And this is the Final result...

It was actually quite comical.

Kinser 2 months and 1 day

Today we had Kinser's 2 month well baby check-up.  He is getting so big!

Here are his Stats:
Age 2 months
Weight 12 lbs 4.5 oz 63%
Length 22 3/4 inches 46%

Look at those thighs!
He sure wasn't smilin' like that when we left the doctor's office.  Three shots and some oral medicine later he was very upset!  He hasn't been in the best humor tonight, however, the Tylenol seems to help.

I love this little guy - he's growing so fast...

Just some new pictures of Kinser...

Yes, I'm still here :)... Happy two month b-day Kinser!

Just want to let everyone know that I am still here :)

Sorry, I haven't posted anything in like a week - the boys and I have been in Chicago and I just haven't had time.

Update:
Keaten: Well his big thing right now is peek-a-boo, its so funny!  He also repeats everything and is actually starting to talk on the phone.  Oh, and he always wants to lay in mommy's bed! :)
Every time it is nap-time, I ask, lets go lay down and he replies, "I lay down in mommy's bed!"  It's too cute.

Kinser:  Well, he love the musical light-up star that is on his activity mat.  He just stares at it and smiles - I love it!  He is also trying so hard to find his thumb.  He just can't figure out how to get it in his mouth - its so cute!  He is also starting to drool a lot.  Keaten started drooling at two months too, but he never cut any teeth until he was five months.

Tomorrow we have Kinser's two month well baby check-up!  That means he gets his first shots - that's always so hard.

I have a lot of fun pictures to post, I promise! so stay tuned...

Happy Birthday Bryan! (a day late)

Ok, so I'm sorry I haven't posted anything in a few days.  We were busy this weekend.  Saturday I had the pleasure of playing Vanna White for a brief minute.  Smiles!  Ok, seriously I had my first experience working the BINGO crowd in Peoria for the Saybrook Fire Dept.  Let me tell you, that is definitely a hoot!  - that was basically my Saturday.

Many Thanks to Papa and Grammy for watching the boys Saturday while we played BINGO - actually we didn't play!

So since Sunday was a late night for all of us - especially Papa and Grammy - I decided to make pancakes for breakfast down at Bryan's parent's house for Bryan's birthday.  By the time that was all said and done, Bryan informed me it was 1:00 p.m. and that he was ready for a nap! :) Ultimately I had planned on going to supper for Bryan's birthday dinner with the boys, well since the roads were nasty and we didn't want to get the kids out in the weather, we made individual homemade pizzas - FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!  :)  It was fun, I love doing that kinda of stuff.

Hopefully Bryan had a wonderful B-day! :)

Stayed tuned for some of Kinser's new images...

tomorrow's plans

hopefully tomorrow i will get around to taking some new pictures of kinser.  so, till tomorrow i leave you with a little blue...

look what children will do

Ok, so today both of the boys where home - Bryan took Keaten and I took Kinser and we headed into town.  Bryan had a few errands to run, and I wanted to do a little shopping. I of course had a list; however, I forgot it, so I found myself aimlessly wondering (driving) around town not knowing what to do.  I'm totally not kidding - I think I am loosing my mind!  I couldn't remember a single thing I needed to get, and believe it or not I didn't get a single thing that was actually on my list :).

However, I did get Bryan's Birthday present, so the day wasn't a total flop. Oh, Kinser and I met up with the Boys for lunch at Chili's (which is one of my favorites) for a delicious lunch.

Just a little brotherly love...

I have two of the most beautiful boys in the world.

2012, is it the END?

Ok, so the past few days there has been nothing on TV - not that I sit around all day and watch TV - but occasionally I like a little background noise :)
Anyway, I have really taken a liking to the History channel - I know I'm  dork.  Well, it just so  happens to be Armageddon week and it has really got me quite fascinated.  Yesterday it seemed like it was all about Nostradamus.  Ever heard of him?  Well let me tell you... he was a Doomsday Prophet from 1502 who is credited with predicting many world events .

The I Ching, the Mayan Calendar, Merlin, Mother Shipton have all predicted something will occur 12-21-2012 - possibly our doomsday.  This is some scary stuff!
Just a new image I've been playing with

To Potty... Or not to Potty?

Ok, so having two little ones in diapers is crazy.  Who knew it would be so expensive?!? :)
So, Bryan - being the wonderful dad that he is - has taken to training, Potty Training that is.  He has been working so hard to get Keaten to go in the big boy potty and then... it happened! Monday night, he tinkled in his big boy potty!  WOOHOO! We are so excited - hopefully he will begin to understand now what we are asking him to do...

Kinser 6 weeks 6 days - and smiles!

Ok, so for the past few days Kinser has been giving us a little grin when you talk to him... I'm thinking its safe to say its a true smile and not just gas.  Though he does have a lot of that ;).

I've also noticed that he has the same gorilla pose as Keaten had - for those of you who remember.  I'll see if I can dig up an image a little later to post.

The start of Blogging :)

Ok, so I have started this blog - I'm not really sure what I am doing yet, but am excited to learn.  If anyone has any advice along the way - please feel free to share, you will not offend me.  I am hoping to keep up with it as best as I can... when you have a 20 month old and a one month old, time is limited.  I would like to use this as a place to post pictures, converse about photography and photoshop/lightroom, and just keep in touch with family and friends.
